Become a Certified GSP Counselor

The SEEK GSP Academy uses a blended learning approach that combines theory, practice, and mentorship to ensure trainees gain both scientific understanding and practical experience in applying the GSP model.

The training process includes:

  1. Theoretical Learning:
Participants are introduced to foundational concepts of mental health, depression, and psychosocial support, along with the structure and principles of GSP.

  2. Interactive Learning:
Through video lessons, assignments, and quizzes, trainees engage in real-world case discussions and role plays that simulate actual facilitation scenarios.

  3. Supervised Practicum:
Each trainee organizes and delivers a GSP session in their community under the mentorship of a Certified GSP Trainer, ensuring the application of culturally sensitive methods.

  4. Reflection and Feedback:
Facilitators receive continuous feedback to strengthen their confidence, empathy, and professional competence.

  5. Certification:
Successful participants are awarded the title Certified GSP Counselor, qualifying them to implement GSP interventions in their communities or institutions.
